On November 26th, 2016 360DegreesofDisney.com and its associated social media channels officially launched. That means that today marks the five year anniversary of this endeavour!
I would first like to thank all of you who have joined us and enjoyed our content over the past five years. It has been a distinct honor and privilege to connect with so many of you, be it through our social media channels, submissions on the site, or even at Disney events! We’ve been fortunate to experience a great deal of success, one of our recent reels reached 4.8 million views!
To commemorate our fifth anniversary we have debuted our brand new logo, pictured below, as well as an updated design for the website including the streamlining of many pages. The site will continue to be refined as it has been for the last five years.
As we look forward to the next five years I wanted to fill you in on some of our plans and what you can expect from our content through all of our platforms.
ABOUT US
The core of our fifth anniversary celebration will be our brand new “about us” messaging, we are incorporating your feedback and what you have most engaged with to chart our path forward. 360 Degrees of Disney will now be focused on Disney experiences from around the world (360 degrees worth). We will also be launching some new features to the website in the coming months to allow you to better navigate our catalogue of character pictures with added analysis, more information to come on that at a later date.
WEBSITE
The website itself will continue to exist similar to how it does today with some newly streamlined pages. The major components will be the Character Closet, Experiences Tab, and Blog. The former two will be continuously updated to include brand new outfits, characters, and experiences from Disney events and destinations around the world. The blog will soon feature a bi-weekly Disney news overview filling you in on all that is happening around the world with some added insight. This will have a heavy focus on characters but will cover a wide-range of areas within Disney. Look forward to more updates on the website in the coming weeks and months!
SOCIAL MEDIA
As has been for a while, you have indicated that Instagram is your preferred platform to view our content. We, as of the writing of this, have 21.8K followers on that platform and so the content on that platform will continue as it is currently with plenty of photos, reels, guides, and more for you to enjoy! The content from Instagram will also be shared on our Facebook page while the complete update is delayed due to technical issues. We will also continue to post on Twitter content that is similar but distinct from Instagram. We hope you will follow us on all of these platforms which you can find by scrolling to the bottom of this page and linked where I’ve mentioned them in this section.
